What a great place to see this great band. I know they told us it was at South Street Seaport, and I know that was by the Brooklyn Bridge, but wow, the visual impact of being right there on the river, with 3 bridges and the lower Manhattan skyline (ok and Queens) surrounding us was incredible.
Shout outs: John Cleary, on losing his moe. cherry, and clearly enjoyed himself in the process; ZMan, struggling on a bum knee, but not to be denied; all the heros, Justin for the ride up the hill, Bekka and Matt; great to see Jen and Scott Bernstein; Dave Friedman; James Boncek, and three times the guy who stashed his ipad under my stand, got thrown out for allegedly smoking a joint, snuck back in, and then was on the A train uptown with me. Whatever your name is, wtg you old hippy!
Finally, a couple recording notes: this was my first time with this rig, it may be a little on the quiet side levels-wise, ran them a little low, especially at first, still getting used to how far to push; a hint was when Z-Man told me my unit needed to go back to the shop, b/c none of my red lights were working; also, Steve pushed the amps so hard during meat that he blew about 3 subs at the very end of of the song, you will here a noticable volume and intensity drop there.

great show, haven't been but it sounds like the view is incredible. the jams b/w songs (especially Hi & Lo>Moth>TT) are very smooth. thanks for all contributions to get this up here for us all to enjoy.

Wish I was there!!
Going tonight. This is a very nice sounding recording - not too much audience chatter in what must have been a loud veny. The recording is pretty crist and clean (only up to Meat so far).
Setlist seems pretty good - I requested Skrunk on Facebook and a Twitter to Al - glad it made its way into the show!
